Monique Deshawn Davis, 54, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021, in Atlanta, Ga. She was born May 15, 1966, in Bogalusa, to Theodore Wayne Davis and Allie Mae Davis Stulc. She was a 1984 graduate of Bogalusa High School. She worked as a CNA 25 years, displaying a wonderful passion for people.

Monique truly lived life through the fullest through simple pleasures — traveling with family and friends and spending time with her children and grandson. She had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Monique touched are invited to Crain and Sons Funeral Home, located at 809 E. Third St. in Bogalusa, on Saturday, March 20. Viewing will start at noon, and a service will follow at 2 p.m. to celebrate such a wonderful soul. Pastor Nolan Robinson will officiate.
