James “Randy” Seal, 69, born on May 7, 1951, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at his residence on Bogalusa. He was an Instructor at the Northshore Technical Community College in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia W. Seal of Bogalusa; a daughter, Katie (Colton) Busby of Baton Rouge; his sons, Christopher (Jonene) Seal of Angie, Jeffery (Malarie) Seal of Bogalusa, and Bradley (Suzanne) Duncan of Bogalusa; nine grandchildren, Noah Seal, Blake Duncan, Brent Duncan, Emma Simmons, Naomi Seal, Kensley Seal, Neriah Seal, Lainey Seal and Jacob Busby; and also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Vester Seal and Geraldine Bates Seal; and a sister, Lisa S. Guenard.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., with the Rev. George Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to a charity of your choice in James “Randy” Seal’s memory.
