Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks were defeated by Madison Prep, 70-52, in the bi-district round of the Class 3A state playoffs on the road Friday.

Josh Taylor led the Lumberjacks with 15 points.

Jarvis Dawson posted 14.

Chance Turner had 13.

No. 32 Bogalusa went 9-12 this season.

Top-seeded Madison Prep, which went to the semifinals last year, is 20-3 and plays 16th-seeded Jennings (10-7) in the regional round. Jennings defeated No. 17 Mansfield (12-9), 57-52, in the bi-district round.
