Bowling Green defeats Amite School Center to begin 2021 year

Bowling Green School’s Bradlee Davidson threw six strong innings, helping the Buccaneers win their season opener, 8-2, over Amite School Center in a District 4-3A game held Tuesday at home.

Davidson pitched six innings allowing two unearned runs on four hits with 14 strikeouts and two walks. At the plate, Davidson scored a run.

Offensively, the Buccaneers tallied three hits.

Keaton Ruffino singled, scored two runs and drove in two.

Matthew Bienvenu singled and posted two RBIs.

Logan Serpas singled.

Jeffrey Slaughter scored three runs, while Michael Yarborough scored a run and had an RBI and Jamiron Sellars scored a run.
