Corrections Sergeant Diane Loupe, who was recently recognized as the Corrections Deputy of the Quarter, has received another award from Sheriff Randy Seal.

Loupe, who supervises the daily operation of the Washington Parish Jail, was unanimously selected to receive the Corrections Deputy of the Year award for 2020.

Sgt. Loupe has risen through the ranks of the jail, mastering all phases of jail management, and currently assists the 22nd Judicial Court judges to enable them to conduct certain judicial procedures utilizing the jail’s Zoom video conferencing program. She is a vital part of the WPSO family and serves as a positive mentor to new corrections deputies.

“I can’t throw enough positive comments her way,” Seal said. “If it needs to be done, Sgt. Loupe will make it happen. I am so pleased with her work ethic and know that she is committed to doing the right thing at all times. Congratulations, Sgt. Loupe!”
