Varnado’s Eliziah Miller and Caluntay Jackson recorded a double-double each in a 74-54 win over Amite in a District 9-2A game at home on Feb 12.

Miller led the team in points with 23 to go with 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals.

Jackson had 22 points, 10 boards and a blocked shot.

Jaheim Hooks had 12 points, two rebounds, four steals and an assist.

This was Varnado’s final district game. The Wildcats came in second with a 7-3 record.
