Franklinton’s Tayte Landry set three records, held on to one of them and came in second in her weight class, while Hannah Spears and Marleigh Schilling were second at the Abbeville RAW Invitational that took place on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Landry, who is in the 198-pound weight class, squatted 270, benched 100 and deadlift 275 for 645 and a second-place tally. Her squat, deadlift and total broke the meet records. Landry lifted before the winner Natchitoches Central’s Briona Touisaint. Touisaint reset the record for deadlift and total at 280 and 665, respectively. Sticking with the locals in the 198s, Shaelyn Tomeny was fourth with a 460 after squatting 155, benching 100 and deadlift 205 for 460.

Spears tied Natchitoches Central’s Deitra Jackson for 445 total. Jackson won the tiebreaker, which was least body weight. Spears squatted 145, benched 75 and deadlift 230. Teammate Grace Mitchel was third, just missing first, with a 150 squat, 75 bench and 215 deadlift for 440 total. Franklinton’s Dayana Tenorio benched 85 and deadlift 200.

Schilling was runner up in the 148s with 515 total after squatting 205, benching 90 and deadlift 220. Southside’s Jasmine Anderson won at 610. Franklinton’s Isabella Lambert squatted and deadlifted 155.

Franklinton was the only local team in the meet.

Angel Dufrene took third in the 105s with a 355. She squatted 130, benched 85 and deadlift 140. Natchitoches Central’s Taylor Eubanks won with a 375.

Arielle Magee tallied fourth in the 220s. She squatted 140, benched 100 and deadlift 245. Abby Schenk was seventh with a 360. She squatted 125, benched 85 and deadlifted 150.

Trinity Miller was fourth SHW with a 490 after squatting 180, benching 95 and deadlifting 215. Natchitoches Central’s Sharissa Johnson won at 905.

Leila Kinnamon was eighth in the 114s with a 300 total. She squatted 100, benched 70 and deadlift 130. St. Louis’ Molly Inman won with 500. Franklinton’s Elizabeth Thompson benched 75 and deadlifted 185.

Ava Roshto and Kamryn Carter were eighth and 11th in the 132s with a 445 and 380 respectively, Roshto squatted 135, benched 90 and deadlifted 220. Carter squatted 140, benched 70 and deadlift 170. Natchitoches Central’s Mackenzie Johnson won with a 665. Franklinton’s Madison Jordan benched 65 and deadlift 150. Teammate Kloie Antentaler benched 90 and deadlifted 205. Jennifer Dong tallied an 80 bench and 230 deadlift.

Emma Dutruch was eighth in the 165s with a 290. She squatted 100, benched 65 and deadlifted 120. Natchitoches Central’s Anne-Marie Boseman won with a 625. Franklinton’s Christian Loup benched 70 and deadlifted 220. Emma Moran had a 75 bench and 190 deadlift.

Emma Williams came in seventh for the 181s after she squatted 160, benched 90 and deadlifted 200 for 450. Natchitoches Central’s Kara Pullig won at 745.

Franklinton will be back in action at the regional meet that will take place on Friday, Feb. 26 at Pope John Paul II.
