Varnado’s Wildcats won their games last Tuesday and Wednesday.

Last Tuesday, Jaheim Hooks scored 32 points in an 82-45 victory over Independence in a District 9-2A game at home.

Hooks also grabbed four rebounds, made three steals and dished out three assists.

ZyQuantay Bickham recorded 16 points, seven boards, four steals and two blocks.

Elizah Miller posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Miller also had three steals, two blocks and two assists.

Michael Fland recorded 13 points, five boards and an assist.

Last Wednesday, Varnado defeated Kentwood, 56-53, on the road in District 9-2A play.

Hooks led the way with 21 points. He also recorded four assists, four steals and six rebounds.

Quanta Peters tallied 10 points, four boards and made five steals.

Miller posted eight points, 16 rebounds, six steals and two assists.
