FHS’s Schilling, Magee victorious in meet

Franklinton’s Marleigh Schilling and Arielle Magee were victorious in their weight classes at the 2021 Salmen High School girls Invitational Meet that took place last Saturday.

Schilling won the 148s with a 505 total. She had a 205 squat, 90 bench press and a 210 deadlift. Slidell’s Chloe Pomes was second at 475. Franklinton’s Isabella Lambert was fourth at 370. She had a 150 squat, 70 bench and 150 deadlift.

Magee won the 220s at 470. She squatted 145, benched 115 and deadlift 210. Teammate Abby Schenk was second with a 340. She squatted 125, benched 85 and deadlifted 130.

Franklinton was the only team from Washington Parish in the meet.

Angel Dufrene, Grace Mitchell, Ava Roshto and Tayte Landry were second in their weight classes.

Dufrene was runner up in the 105s. She posted a 340 total with a 125 squat, 85 bench and 130 deadlift. Salmen’s Kim Ey Pov won with a 450.
Mitchell was second in the 123s after posting a 415. She squatted 140, benched 90 and deadlifted 185. Salmen’s Myah Provenzano won with a 585.

Franklinton’s Aliyah Sumrall benched 65 and deadlifted 155, while Hannah Spears had a 70 bench and deadlifted 210 and Dayana Tenorio tallied an 85 bench and a 190 deadlift.

Roshto was tied for second in the 132s and won the tiebreaker of least body weight. Roshto squatted 135, benched 90 and deadlifted 215 for 440 total. Slidell’s Madison Crain won with a 465 total. Franklinton’s Kloie Altentaler was fourth at 390 with a 130 squat, 85 bench and 145 deadlift.
Landry, who is in the 198s, recorded a 640 with a 270 squat, 120 bench and 250 deadlift. Slidell’s Karmyn King won with a 930.

Three Lady Demons took third, including Elizabeth Thompson, Emma Dutruch and Emma Williams.

Thompson, who competes in the 114s, had a total of 360. She squatted 125, benched 75 and deadlifted 160. Slidell’s Lyssa Reynolds won at 530. Franklinton’s Leila Kinnamon was fourth with a 285 after a 100 squat, 65 bench and 120 deadlift.

Dutruch was third in the 165s with a 280. She squatted 100, benched 65 and deadlifted 115. Slidell’s Faith Tate won with a 490. Emma Moran benched 75 and deadlifted 180.

Williams, who is in the 181s, had a total of 415. She squatted 160, benched 85 and deadlifted 170. Slidell’s D’Angela Brownlee won at 740.

Trinity Miller was fifth in the SHW division with a 475 total. She squatted 185, benched 90 and deadlifted 200. Slidell’s Kimberlynn Brownlee won with a 750 total.

Franklinton will compete again on Feb. 13 in the Abbeville RAW Invitational.
