Mr. Archie Fred Davis, born April 17, 1945, passed away on Jan. 21, 2021. He was a resident of Franklinton, where he resided at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol Smith of Bogalusa; three grandchildren, Cassie Davis of Bogalusa, Ashley Davis of Bogalusa and Sarah Perminova of Panama City, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Abby Creel, Hallie Verlander, Callie Davis, Braxton Tibiduex, Gage Dillon and Yelana Perminova; a great friend, David Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, siblings, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ran Davis of Crossroads, Miss.; his mother, Jenny Passman of Pearl River; one daughter, Cindy Davis of Bogalusa; and a grandson, Michael Blackwell of Bogalusa.

He loved each one of you and we would like to thank everyone for your prayers during this time.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
