Roy Edmon Keating, 76, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at PAM Specialty Hospital in Covington. He was born on Feb. 24, 1944, in Tylertown, Miss. He was a member and an usher of New Life United Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betsy Creel Keating of Bogalusa; two daughters, Regina Keating Duncan of Covington, and Baline Keating Baham (Mark) of Poplarville, Miss.; three sons, Roy Keating (Tessa) of Carriere, Miss., Benjamin Keating (DeAnna) of Bogalusa, and Bobby Keating (Alicia) of Carriere; a sister, Joyce Stafford (John) of Tylertown; grandchildren, Emily Freeman (Lee), Merika Kalman (Paul), Candice Duncan, Tucker Keating, Eva Keating, Bo Keating, Mark Desmond, Ally Baham and Daniel Baham; great-grandchildren, Kage Freeman, Tripp Freeman, Steven Ross, Raylynn Holmes, Analice Slater and Ashtyn Duncan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Edmon Keating and Dollie Morris Keating; a sister, Ruby Lee Smith; and a brother, Bobby Keating.

Visitation was held at New Life United Pentecostal Church, 1600 Jefferson St. in Bogalusa, on Friday, Jan. 29, at 5 p.m. until the Funeral Services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30. The Rev. Wesley Quave, Rev. Dusty Frierson and Rev. Kirk Hoelzel will be officiating, and interment will follow at Ponemah cemetery.
