Laura Faye Keating, 52, resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Jan. 20, 2021, in Baton Rouge. She was born in Bogalusa on Aug. 10, 1968.

She is survived by her children, Ryan McMahan, Ray Drew and Amber Drew; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Cheyanne, Ha’Leigh, Nadia, Blake, Layton, Skylar and Lochlynn; her sisters, Cheryl Edwards, Marie Slocum, Sandra Toups and Melissa McMahan; and her nieces and nephews, Brittney, Devin, Brandon, Johnny, Krissy, Kayla, Cade and Micah.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katie Keating; her brother, Michael McMahan; her sister, Katherine Newell; a granddaughter, Baby M; and her parents, Lois McMahan and Kirby McMahan.

Services to celebrate Laura’s life were held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with the visitation starting Friday, Jan. 29, at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continuing Saturday, Jan. 30, at 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
