Pine’s Lady Raiders went 1-1 in games against Kentwood and Amite that were held on Jan. 22 and Tuesday in District 9-2A action.

Both games were on the road.

The game against Kentwood was a 36-26 win.

Diamond Dawson scored 11 points to lead Pine.

Hailey Martin posted eight points.

Alyssa Phelps had seven.

Makia Clark tallied four points.

Kiyasha Clark had three.

Haleigh Temples recorded two points.

Emmy Lyons posted one point.

Tuesday’s game was a 95-20 loss to Amite.

Phelps tallied six points to lead Pine.

Martin posted five points that included a 3-pointer.

Kiyasha Clark had four.

Dawson recorded three that included a 3-pointer.

Temples posted two.

Amite, which is 18-2, is No. 2 in the unofficial Class 2A LHSAA powerpoints rankings.

Pine’s next game will take place against Varnado at home on Jan. 29.
