Franklinton’s Lady Demons posted a 2-0 record in games that were held on Friday and Monday.

Friday’s game was a 39-35 win over St. Scholastica Academy in a District 9-4A contest that took place on the road.

Alanze Alexander led Franklinton with 13 points.

Abigail Smith posted eight points.

Dawn Kehoe tallied six.

Bailey Brooks recorded five points that included a 3-pointer.

Eliziah Riley had three.

Anayah Cooper tallied two.

Trinity Bryant and McKaylah had one each.

On Monday, Franklinton defeated Mt. Hermon School, 45-34, in a non-district game at home.

Alexander scored a game-high 15 points.

Riley and Smith posted 12 points.

Brooks tallied five that included a 3-pointer.

Jada Robinson posted one point.

Bailey Fortenberry was Mt. Hermon’s top scorer with 14 points. She made two 3-pointers.

Brooklyn Falgout posted 11 points.

Jamaria Warren recorded six.

Blayke Brinker had two points.

Alexa Bullock tallied one point.

Franklinton’s next game will be held on Jan. 26 against Salmen on the road.

Mt. Hermon’s next game will take place on Jan. 26 against Kentwood at home.
