Pine’s Lady Raiders defeated Varnado, 58-17, in Tuesday’s District 9-2A game that took place at VHS.

Kiyasha Clark led all scorers with 13 points. She made two 3-pointers.

Diamond Dawson tallied eight points.

Haley Martin and Makia Clark posted seven points each. Martin hit two 3-pointers, while Clark made one.

Alyssa Phelps and Emma Lyons both posted six points.

McKenzie Kennedy had four points.

Samara Daniels and Sydney McEleveen posted two each.

Bailey Brooks had one.

Myesha Peters tallied seven points to top Varnado.

Jakyra Daggs posted six.

Jayla Peters had three.

Taisha Brister recorded one.

Pine will be back in action on Jan. 20 with a home game against Independence.

Varnado’s next game will take place on Tuesday with a home contest against St. Helena College and Career Academy.
