Bogalusa’s Lady Jacks won their District 8-3A games over Jewel Sumner and Archbishop Hannan in contests held on Jan. 8 and on Tuesday.

Both games were at home.

On Jan. 8, Bogalusa won 38-32 over Jewel Sumner in a game that took place on Jan. 8 at home.

Deranique Lee was Bogalusa’s leader in points with 16. Lee grabbed five rebounds and made four steals.

Mary Ladner posted 10 points and a steal.

Taniya Brown tallied six points, two rebounds and four steals.

Tamirecal Peters recorded five points and two assists.

Holloway had a point and two boards.

Mariah Myles grabbed two rebounds.

Tuesday’s win was 49-35 over Archbishop Hannan.

Brown led Bogalusa with 13 points. She also had three rebounds and three steals.

Ladner was next with 12 points. Ladner pulled down a rebound and made a steal.

Peters tallied 11 points, a rebound and two steals.

Lee had seven points and four rebounds.

Jakayla Collins posted four points and two rebounds.

Caitlyn Holloway tallied two points and three rebounds.

Bogalusa’s next game will take place on Tuesday with a home game against Albany.
