Bowling Green School’s Buccaneers tallied a 2-1 record in District 4-3A contests that took place on Jan. 5 along with Friday and Saturday.

On Jan. 5, Bowling Green defeated Ben’s Ford Christian School, 72-28, on the road.

Matthew Downs led all scorers with 16 points for the Buccaneers.

Javon Bickham tallied 10 points.

Nate Descant topped Ben’s Fordwith eight points.

Joseph Williams posted six points.

John Robert Holston and Tucker Pittman recorded four each.

KK Tervalon and Jonah Holston both had three.

On Friday, the Bucs were defeated by Lamar Christian School, 48-43, on the road.

Bickham led Bowling Green with 19 points.

Bowling Green won the next day, 58-34, over Wayne Academy at home.

Rece Dillon led the Buccaneers with 18 points.

Dalton Crain was next with 10.

Bowling Green’s next game will take place on Thursday when the Buccaneers host Columbia Academy in league competition.
