Mrs. Luevayon Gwendolyn Thomas Craddock, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Our Lady of The Angels Medical Center, Bogalusa, LA. Luevayon was passionate about her church family at Union Heritage, Bogalusa, LA. Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the perfect loving grandmother that everyone wanted. She had many passions which includes, cooking, flowers, and most importantly an unconditional love for her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Douglas Craddock of 63 years. Her only child Michael Benton Craddock and “Tammy”. Two grandsons Richard Benton Craddock “Mandy”, and Brady Allen Craddock “Shannon”. Five great-grandchildren Bria, Morgan, Carley, Riley, and Skyler. Four sisters Elsie Manos “Charles”, Theresa Seibert “Thomas”, Carolyn Groves “Mack”, and Janice Hostetler “Raymond”. One brother Dorman Thomas “Faye”. Luevayon also leaves behind her precious extended family April, Aliyah, Anna and Addy Sumrall.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sam E. Thomas and Edwena Crain Thomas. Four sisters Bessie Wood “Elzie”, Mary Trusty “Sylvan”, Jessie Richardson “William, and Elois French “Carol”. Two brothers Jewell Thomas “Francis”, and Elgin Thomas “Judy”.

Pallbearers will include Benton Craddock, Brady Craddock, Johnathan Holston, John Robert Holston, Jonah Holston, and Kendell Bullen.

Relatives and friends of the family attended the funeral services on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Brown McGehee Funeral Home, Bogalusa, LA., at 1:00 PM. Services were officiated by Bro. Bruce Morris. Interment immediately followed at Hillview Memorial Gardens, Bogalusa, LA
