Wayward Galloway passed away on Dec. 30, 2020, in Bogalusa, at the age of 86. He was born in Isabel on May 16, 1934.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ruth Jones Galloway of Bogalusa; his son, Barren (Ellen) Galloway of Covington; his daughter, Fawn Galloway of Bogalusa; and his sister, Cherrie (Joe) Dailey.

He was preceded in death by his son, Durand Galloway; his parents, Hosie and Mary Jenkins Galloway; and his siblings.

Graveside services celebrating his life were held on Sunday, Jan. 3, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Tommy Pittman officiated.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, everyone was asked to social distance and masks were required by all who attended.
