On Dec. 3, 2021, Mr. Robert Laws passed away peacefully at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. He served in the U.S. Army, where he was part of the 101st Airborne.

He is survived by a son, Robert M (Melody) Laws; two daughters, Lorrie (Ricky) Easterling and Lisa (John) Miller; a sister, Dorothy Canoy; a brother, David (June) Laws; a sister-in-law, Margaret Laws; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Laws was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie A. Laws; his parents, Robert L. and Frances L. Laws; one brother, Charles Laws; and one brother-in-law, William Canoy.

Services will be held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 7. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., with services following and starting at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
