Pamela Cooper-Rester, 41, born on Oct. 28, 1979, in Independence, passed away on Dec. 2, 2020, where she resided in Bogalusa.

She is survived by her son, Steven Tyler Blackwell; her daughter, Haley Rester; her father, Gary Cooper; her stepmother, Donna Parker; four brothers, Michael Parker, Jonathan Parker (Misty), Joshua Cooper and Nicky Cooper; two sisters, Ashley Crawford (Brad) and Angela Hathorne (Micah); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Kent; and her brother, Bruce Cooper.

Pamela was a loving mother to her children, who meant the world to her. She was strong and determined and taught them right from wrong. She had high expectations of them and never missed an opportunity to tell them. She valued those she loved and was always ready, willing, and able to help them in any way that she could. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Arrangements were made by Bagnell and Son Funeral Home in Covington. A memorial service for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
