Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As the Christmas and New Year holidays are quickly approaching, I want to wish each and every person a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas is a very special time for us all. Many years ago, 1963 to be exact, an American songster named Andy Williams recorded a Christmas song, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” One chorus of that song perhaps captures the emotions of most of us during the Christmas season. Williams sang, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year. There’ll be much mistletoe-ing and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.”

Christmas is indeed a most wonderful time and I wish richest blessings for each and every one. Your sheriff and the entire Seal family wishes you a heartfelt Merry Christmas.

One week after Christmas, we celebrate the beginning of a new year. While the past year has been a trying one for our nation and many of our parish families, I sincerely hope and pray that 2021 will be a better year for all. Happy New Year!

During this holiday season, please remember our deputies, all other first responders, medical personnel and many more who must work during the holidays so that all of us can enjoy peace and safety. We are so appreciative of all the fine men and women who serve us unselfishlessly so that we may enjoy the holidays with our family and friends.

As always, our officers will be on duty on both Christmas and New Year’s days. Call us if you need us. We can always be reached at 985-839-3434.
