Christopher Albert Smith, born Oct. 11, 1958, passed away on Dec. 11, 2020, at the age of 62.

Son of the late Junious Benjamin and Marie Edna (Derogers) Smith, Chris attended Annunciation Catholic Church where he volunteered as an altar server, Poplas Elementary, Annunciation Catholic School and graduated from Bogalusa High School with the Class of 1976. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and honorably discharged in 1980.

Preceding him in death were siblings, Melba Jean (Gerald) Simmons, Phillip (Willie Jean), Margaret Elaine (Bill) McCoy and Baby girl Smith.

Mourning his loss are brothers, J.B. (Francis) of California, and William (Emma); sisters, Mary Jeanetta (Tolan) Binns, Carolyn (Joseph) Jacquet of Texas, Lynda (Donald) Green, Theresa (James) Ivory of Georgia, Melany (Charles) Johnson, Mamie (Randolph) Smith of Georgia and Gwendolyn (Willie) Perkins of Texas; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
