Lady Eagles topped in basketball

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles were defeated by Lamar Christian School and Laurel Christian School in District 4-3A contests held on Thursday and Friday.

The game against Lamar that was 48-21 on Thursday was a road game.

Dani Descant topped the Lady Eagles with five points.

Sylvia Rosa posted four points.

Ashlyn Dantin recorded three points.

Allie Jacobs, Lindsey McGehee, Natalie Seal and Brianna Jones all had two points.

Gracie Pittman scored a point.

On Friday, Ben’s Ford was defeated by Laurel Christian School, 34-22, at home.

Bailey Stewart and Rosa tied for the team lead in points with six each.

Dantin and Jules Morelock tallied three points.

Jacobs and Laci Branch posted two each.

Ben’s Ford’s next game will be held on Friday against Wilkinson County Christian Academy on the road in a non-district contest.
