Lady Buccaneers capture district win in Monday’s road contest

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers won their game over Amite School Center, 45-38, in a District 4-3A contest held Monday on the road.

Bridget Devall topped the team’s scorers with 14 points on 7-of-11 from the field. Devall also pulled down four rebounds.

Bailey Devall recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 steals to go with seven rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot.

Claire Wascom posted seven points that included two 3-pointers. Wascom had two rebounds and two steals.

Anna Claire Crowe tallied four points, three assists and two steals.

Baileigh Crain posted four points, three rebounds and an assist.

KaKa Seal had three points that included a 3-pointer and two steals.

Peyton Dupuy tallied one point.

Javonnie Bickham grabbed a rebound and dished out an assist.

Bowling Green’s next game will take place on Dec. 12 when the Lady Buccaneers travel to Laurel Christian School for a District 4-3A contest.
