Leander Warren was born Nov. 26, 1948, in Franklinton, to Mazie and Rufus Warren. He was one in 16 children.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Lexie Mae Warren; son, Donald Ray Carriere; daughters, Lesia Warren and Dianne Warren; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Iesha, Roy, Domonique, Precious, Andrew, Solomon and Andrea; brothers, Herman, Larry, Kerman, Harry, Bufus Ray and Rufus Jr.; many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mazie, and father, Rufus Warren; two brothers, Early and Curly; and four sisters, Shirley, Vera, Lavernne and Earline.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Lillie Taylor for all of your love, kindness, and support. You are truly appreciated.
