Tuesday’s agenda includes:

  • Potential adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of Bogalusa to enter into a contract with the low bidder Lawson-Bone’t Construction, Inc., for the City of Bogalusa Water System Improvements.
  • Potential adoption of an ordinance to approve the 2020 Revised Budget.
  • Public participation, administrative remarks and other council discussion.

The next city council meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 5:30 p.m.

The council had been holding meetings at Bogalusa City Hall, but Gov. John Bel Edwards announced last Wednesday that the state would be reverting back to a modified “Phase Two” of its COVID-19 re-opening plan. The state had been previously in “Phase Three,” which allowed for less strict re-opening criteria.
