Mr. La’Boris T. Pittman was born June 23, 1985, to Ms. Ida P. Warren and Tommy E. Brown of Bogalusa. He departed this life on Nov. 17, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family.

La’Boris had a passion for sports; he attended Bogalusa City Schools where he enjoyed playing Little League baseball, football and basketball. He worked as a produce manager at Rouses’ Supermarket until his health failed.

La’Boris joined church at an early age under the leadership of Elder Charles Levias of Levias Temple, later in life he joined Christian Tabernacle of Holiness in Foxworth, Miss., under the leadership of Elder Larry Anderson.

La’Boris leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Ida P. Warren; two daughters, Jaslyn Armstrong of Lumberton, Miss., and Justice Harry of Bogalusa; and a son, La’Darrius Thomas of Varnado; one sister, La’Tesha Robinson; one brother, Tommy Sowell; special aunts that played a great role in raising and spoiling La’Boris: Mrs. Bobbie “Sweet Cakes” (Elder James) Gholar of Tylertown, Miss., Mrs. Mildred Pittman of Franklinton, Brenda (Lionel) Roberts, Ms. Jackie Warren of Houston, Texas, Leattrice Warren of Gonzales, Rosetta Brown of Houston (where he spend many summer vacations), and Shannon Burns of Bogalusa; uncles, Jimmy Lee Brown, Benjamin Pittman, Richard Brown, all of Bogalusa, Milton (Quentina) Brown of Houston, Larry O’Neal (Kathy) Cotton of Franklinton; a god-mother, Adrian Perry of Bogalusa; a god-sister, Askia Anders of Bogalusa; and a special care giver, Ms. Patrina Williams.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy E. Brown; his maternal grandparents, Ms. Eddie Murle Pittman and Mr. J.P. Peters; his paternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Florence Brown; and uncles, David Earl, O’Neal and Richard Pittman and Clifton Brown.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Cook-Richmond Funeral Home’s Bogalusa location. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
