Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Nate Descant hit the game-winning shot in the Eagles’ 54-53 victory over Woodlawn Preparatory School on Monday at home.

Descant’s shot came with 20 seconds on a layup.

Woodlawn had a chance, but missed the shot and Jonah Holston grabbed the rebound to end the game.

Descant led the Eagles with 27 points.

Holston was next with eight.

Gage Adams tallied seven points, while John Robert Holston posted six, Joe Williams had four and Sam Peters recorded three.

Ben’s Ford’s next game will take place on Monday at home against Woodlawn Preparatory School.
