Edward Newell Bush passed away at his residence in Crossroads, Miss., on Nov. 3, 2020 at the age of 93. He was born in Bogalusa on Feb. 10, 1927.

He was a World War II veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret S. Bush; son, Robert (Bob) Bush; his parents, A.C. and Lonnie Bush; brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, Claude, Alfred “Shorty,” Cecil, A.C. “Jr.” and Clarence; sister, Alma Pittman; sisters-in-law, Sue Ellen, Irma, Dell and Dorothy; and his brother-in-law, Andrew Pittman.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet Bush of Crossroads; his four grandchildren, Barbara (Joe) Rouyea of Denham Springs, Michelle (Mike) Stewart of Denham Springs, Allison (Jay) Brignac of Gonzales and Mark Juneau of Walker; four great-grandchildren, Natalie Stewart, Brooke Rouyea, Jackson Juneau and Chole Brignac; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.

Services were held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa on Friday, Nov. 6. Visitation began at 9 a.m. with a Rosary service beginning at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Entombment followed at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Annunciation Catholic Church.
