Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers girls basketball team was defeated in both games of the Brookhaven Academy Tournament that was held Monday and Tuesday.

Monday’s season opener was a 61-28 loss to Simpson Academy.

Bailey Devall topped the Lady Buccaneers with 11 points.

Bridget Devall posted 10 points.

Peyton Dupey tallied five points, while Anna Claire Crowe had two.

The game on Tuesday was a 62-32 setback to Brookhaven Academy.

Bailey Devall posted 13 points to lead Bowling Green.

Bridget Devall recorded eight, while KaKa Seal tallied four, Dupey had three and Bailey Crain along with Emily Cothern both put up two.

Bowling Green will be back in action on Tuesday for its home opener against Hillcrest Christian. This is also the boys opening game.
