Pine’s Lady Raiders were defeated by Pope John Paul II and defeated First Baptist Christian School in matches held Thursday and Monday.
The District 4-IV home game against Pope John Paul II was a 25-10, 25-10, 25-12 loss.
PJP has won the Division IV state title every year since 2014 except 2018.
Makia Clark downed six kills, pulled up a dig and she blocked two shots.
Kiyasha Clark posted three kills, and six digs.
Leah Ladner recorded two kills, two digs, an ace and she blocked two shots.
Kalli Tullier had three kills, two digs and she blocked a shot.
Savannah McDaniel recorded two kills and two digs.
Hailey Martin posted a kill.
In Monday’s match, Pine defeated First Baptist Christian School, 25-20, 25-14, 25-15.
Kiyasha Clark posted five kills and an ace.
McDaniel recorded five kills.
Ladner had three aces and two kills.
Makia Clark tallied three kills and an ace.
Martin downed two kills.
Tullier posted a pair of aces.
Pine is back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 20 with a road contest against Springfield.
