Nizual Jerome Whittine was born March 2, 2001, in Covington, to Brandy Danene Whittine and the late Dagrick Jerome Moses. He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, in Baton Rouge.

Drive-thru visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with Pastor Michael Oree officiating.

He leaves to cherish his memories of his life: his mother, Brandy Whittine (Lederick) Weary of Bogalusa; two sisters, Shakiera Roberts and Brandaysha Whittine; five brothers, Braedtrick and Semaj Whittine, Braydon, Le’Irik and Braylen Weary, all of Bogalusa; his grandparents, Glenda Pearson (Elmer Paarnell) Whittine of Bogalusa, and Brenda Moses (Roy) Bolton; great-grandparents, Jewel Hill (Roy) Lucas, all of Bogalusa; aunts, Janene Thompson of Gonzales, Latalah, Latanya, Dominique, Vernetta Moses, Shanetta Robinson, all of Bogalusa, Lanaya Moses (Gary), Leiois, Alashonda Cotton of New Orleans; uncles, Demetris and Pierre (Monica) Whittine of Bogalusa, Nicholas (Laquandra), Danon and Darris Whittine, all of Baton Rouge; one niece and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dagrick Jerome Moses; his paternal grandfather, Anthony Jerome Robinson; his maternal grandfather, Willie Whittine Jr.; and great-grandmother, Doris Mae Pearson.
