Franklinton Soccer Club registration
Registration is always open at the Franklinton Soccer Club.
Children can play during the Fall 2020 Season (Aug. 24-Oct. 17) with the membership fee of $60. The uniform fee is $70. The uniforms will be worn every year, so you won’t need to purchase another unless your child outgrows it. To register, go to www.franklintonsoccerclub.com. You can pay the registration fee and uniform fee separately there.
If your child is a current member and will not be playing Fall Soccer, please let the soccer club know. If your child is a current member and will be playing, be on the lookout for an email from the Franklinton Soccer Club and a message from the coach.
The club will play at the Atoka Recreation Complex this Fall on Hwy. 25. It is located two miles from the entrance to the Washington Parish Fairgrounds.

Pearl River baseball hosting prep showcase
The reigning Region XXIII Champion Pearl River Community College baseball program has announced the date for its annual high school showcase.
The Showcase is set for Sunday, Oct. 4 at Dub Herring Park. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., with a 1 p.m. start for the event.
“The goal of this showcase is to give participants the opportunity to display their skills in front of college coaches from not only our program but others as well,” Pearl River coach Michael Avalon said.
The showcase, which is open for any high school baseball player (Class of 2021-2024), will offer a full pro-style workout.
“This will allow different coaches to evaluate each participant in all areas of the game, from speed and pitching to both offense and defense,” Avalon said.
The showcase is $100.
