Mr. Roy R. Adams passed away on Thursday morning, Aug. 6, 2020, at his home in Amite, LA. Roy loved coon hunting, riding horses.

He was a pillar of his community, and will greatly missed by all he came in contact with.

Roy is survived by two sons, Troy Adams of Butler, Ala., and Randy Adams of Butler; one brother, Bill Adams of New Ulm, Texas; two sisters, Sue Palmer of Amite, and Diane Parker of Jackson, Miss.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Alma Corley Adams; five brothers, T.C. Adams, Willis Adams, Richard Adams, and William Adams Jr. and Phildon Adams; five sisters, Oephlia Hodge, Ines Woodard, Liza Thomas, Elsie Adams and Baby Adams.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. until Funeral Services begin at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Ruben Adams Cemetery.
