Eddie Lee Green was born on Oct. 7, 1960, in Tylertown, Miss., to the late Mr. and Mrs. Junior (Celestine Pittman) Green. He peacefully transitioned from labor to rest on Monday, July 20, 2020, at 11:28 a.m. at his residence.

Eddie attended Wesley Ray Elementary School and Varnado High School.

At an early age, he attended Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Tylertown, Miss.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted sisters, Elois Green Bickham of Angie, and Shanell Green of Springs, Colo.; four brothers, Lee Edward Green of Angie, Jeffery Green of Sandy Hook, Miss., Patrick Green of Waveland, Miss., and Juan (Helena) Anderson of Varnado; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Celestine Green; great-nephew, Dendraviss Johnson; and niece, Te’yanna Urecia Da’sha Green.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Sandy Hook.
