Kristy Fleming Bennett, 40, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on July 23, 2020, at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero. She was born in Denham Springs on March 13, 1980.

She is survived by her daughter, Kali Bennett; her parents, James and Sandra Carrier; her sisters, Morgan Carrier and Theresa Fleming; a nephew, James Matthew Fleming; a niece, Evangeline Faye Carrier; an aunt, Deborah Marie Fleming Costanza; and numerous other aunts uncles and cousins.

Kristy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harlan Emri “Buddy” Fleming and Roxie Vernell “Nell” Fleming; her paternal grandparents, Gilbert Sidney and Marjorie Smith Carrier; and two uncles, Harlan Jerry Fleming and Roger Dale Fleming.

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
