Ina V. Mizell Galloway, 88, a resident of Isabel, died Monday night, July 13, 2020, at her home. She was born in the Isabel Community on Nov. 4, 1931, to the late Thad and Estelle Mizell. Ina was a member of Isabel Baptist Church, who enjoyed teaching vacation Bible school earlier in life. She enjoyed reading and crocheting with her friends. Ina loved working in her flowerbeds and baking pies, with the lemon ice-box pie being the one her family most enjoyed.

She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Galloway Riley and Ernest Riley of Isabel; son, James Anthony Galloway of Isabel; nine grandchildren and spouses, Sonia Riley Kemper of Milan, Tenn., James and Glenda Riley, Shelly Riley Catha and Eric Catha, all of Plainview, Buffy Riley Graphia of Isabel, Austin and Tammy Riley of Rio, Amanda Galloway Richardson and Arthur Richardson of Isabel, Dewayne and Jennifer Bennett of Picayune, Miss., and Amanda Marie Galloway and Kyle Jack Galloway, both of Tennessee; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Amanda Levene Mizell Brooks of the Oak Grove Community; and brother, Thad “T.D.” Mizell of Denham Springs.

Ina was preceded in death by her son, Jack Delton Galloway; husband of 62 years, Stanley Galloway; daughter-in-law, Florence Bennett Galloway; parents, Thad and Estelle Mizell; and sister, Bonnie Mizell Hunt Dial.

Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. on Friday, July 17. A funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, with the Rev. Harold Gaddy and the Rev. Eric Catha officiating. Burial followed in the Isabel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Riley, Austin Riley, Tristan Riley, Nicholas Graphia, Joey Andrade and Matthew Sharp.
