Louise C. Raborn passed away in Covington on July 2, 2020, at the age of 91. She was born in Bogalusa on Sept. 19, 1928.

Mrs. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a faithful and long time member of Monroe Street Baptist Church. She was loved and cherished and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, James L. (Leslie) Raborn of Petal, Miss., Mike W. (Norma) Raborn of Bogalusa, and Donald K. (Judy) Raborn of Angie; her grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Raborn, Sara Louise (John) Raborn Strauser, Jennifer Michelle Raborn (Allen) Seals, and James William “Will” Raborn; one sister, Elizabeth Jones of Plainview; one brother, Marvin “Pot” (Barbara) Cantrell; and daughters-in-law, Raydine A. Raborn and Anne L. Crowell.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph M. Raborn Jr.; her parents, Eli and Nellie Cantrell; daughter, Jo Ann Raborn Hingle; grandson, Joseph Paul Raborn; and brothers and sisters, James Ray Cantrell, Charles Ray Cantrell, Lloyd Cantrell, Robert Cantrell, and Dorothy “Dot” Bergeron.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
