Anthony Morris was born Jan. 27, 1955, to the late Herman Morris and Quida Mingo Morris and he departed from his earthly home to his home in glory at the age of 65 on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Anita Cyrus Morris of Varnado; two sons, Roderick Stephans of Newbern, N.C., and Anthony “Boss” Morris II of Bogalusa; daughter, Carla Morris of Arlington, Texas; brother, Delaurel Morris of Angie; sister, Ella Rose Morris of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Drive-thru viewing will be Thursday, July 2, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, with Elder Christopher Matthews officiating.

Interment will be in the Robertson Cemetery in Varnado.
