On the evening of June 11, 2020, the Lord called our Hattie Mae Dillon home.

Hattie was a well-known and respected member of her community. She was a leader and active participant in the Civil Rights movement for Washington Parish.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Willie Mae and Champin Bridges; a brother, Warren Bridges; and a daughter, Shondrika Robertson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Johnny Dillon; one sister, Vanessa Bridges; two daughters, Marion Dural Cotton and LaRhonde (Keith) St. Amont; two sons, Roynes (Dawn) Dural and Tony (Angela) Dural; one nephew, Raynis (Jacqueline) Bridges; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday, June 19, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. A family hour will be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Cook-Richmond chapel.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Cook-Richmond chapel, with the Rev. Christopher Matthews officiating.
