Varnado High School’s baseball team had eight seniors this year. The 2020 spring sports seasons were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Varnado’s seniors included Jaylen Peters, Cameron Frazier, Christian Matthews, Zantonio Peters, Tyree Sullivan, Kim McGowan, Korterrius Mingo and Darrius Harry.

“These kids were tremendous student athletes and were dedicated to the team,” Varnado coach Mark Barnwell said. “They will be missed and I wish them best in their future endeavors.”
