Mrs. Virgie Nell Miller Hill was born on Aug. 17, 1942, in Bogalusa. Mrs. Virgie passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, in Bogalusa. She was a very special lady to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Samuels, Kim Stogner and her husband Lawrence and Sonya Phillips and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Danny Munizza and his wife Traci, Laikin Smith and her husband Randy, Devin Phillips and his girlfriend Tiffany Owens and Elizabeth Phillips; great-grandchildren, Madalynn Munizza, Bentley Smith and Brantley Phillips; two sisters, Mary Louise Miller and Vera Cooper; a sister-in-law, Betty Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Virgie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hill; daughter, Regenia Hill; parents, Luther and Myrtle Haire Miller; four brothers, Doyle Miller, Irece Miller, Denver Miller and Sidney Miller; and three sisters, Lois Wells, Jeanette Magee and Bonnie Faye Miller.

Pallbearers will be Greg Miller, Randy Smith, Mike Westmoreland, Corey McDaniel, Danny Munizza and Devin Phillips.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, graveside service will be private. It will be Thursday, April 30, at 2:30 p.m. at Ponemah Cemetery.
