In loving memory of Lloyd A. Sanchez Jr. “Pops,” born Aug. 11, 1951, who passed April 20, 2020, at the age of 69. The cause of death was heart failure.

Pops was from Harahan/New Orleans, and a resident of Bogalusa. Pops was a very hard-working individual, tough and steel, lending a helping hand always to family and friends. He enjoyed collecting all kinds of items, as well as lots of knowledge. He loved all his family and friends dearly. He was a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.

He was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Crowell; stepfather, Louis Crowell; and father, Lloyd Sanchez Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Sanchez; sisters, Jayne Cantrelle (Jessie) and Mae Anderson (Byron); children, Lloyd A. Sanchez III, Anthony “Tony,” Rocky, Mitchell and Dolores “Dee” Sanchez, Crystal Duplechain, Joseph, Bryan, Micheal Federer, and Shelly Richardson; grandchildren, Taylor Laurent, Sarah Brown Sanchez, Aryna Hollander, Kalie Stephens, Lloyd A. Sanchez IV, Chelsea, Abagail, Mitchell Jr., Mason, Alissa Sanchez, Catrinna Fresh, Clifford and Justin Frame, Avery, Baylee, Isabel, Taylor, Alissa, Cosmo and Moon Federer; great-grandkids, Lena Frame and John Cameron Brumfield and many more countless.
