Elizabeth Chester Paige, 78, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on April 20, 2020, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She was born in Bogalusa on April 20, 1942. Being a homemaker, Elizabeth loved taking care of her family. She also enjoyed to crochet and to spend time tending to her flowers. She enjoyed reading books and her favorite song was “You are My Sunshine,” which she sang to her granddaughters, whom she loved dearly, all the time.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Howard Paige; her sons, Michael Paige (Kristen Sorrell), Jeff (Dale) Paige and Terry (Joanne) Paige; her granddaughters, Maegan Laine Paige, Morgan Elizabeth Paige and Valerie Renee Paige; a brother, Don Chester; and brother and sister-in-law, Marvin (Marty) Paige.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Cecil and Oneita Landrum Chester; a brother, Vertress Chester; and in-laws, Mike and Laura Paige.

A graveside service will be held at Paige Cemetery in Bogalusa on Wednesday, April 22, at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Tommy Pittman will officiate.
