Bowling Green’s Seals is Class 3A All-MAIS

A Bowling Green Lady Buccaneers’ basketball player is an All-MAIS player for Class 3A.

Kyley Seals is an All-MAIS player.

This season, Seals averaged 10.2 points per game to go with 5.6 rebounds, 4.2 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per contest.

Besides this honor, Seals was also an all-star in the Class 3A-5A game that took place last month.

This season, Bowling Green won the regular season district championship and then they captured the league tournament.

The Lady Buccaneers were second at South State and third in the Class AAA Tournament before suffering a 53-35 loss to Hartfield Academy in the Overall Tournament. Hartfield Academy made it to the semifinals of the Overall Tournament.

The five All-MAIS Teams feature seven players along with awards for player of the year and coach of the year.

Columbia Academy’s Ally Alford is the Class 3A Player of the Year.

North Delta School’s Harrison Nickle is the 2019-20 Class 3A Coach of the Year.

Besides Seals, the rest of the team includes Central Holmes Christian School’s Breann Bell, North Delta School’s Faith Bollinger, Clinton Christian Academy teammates Iris Farve and Rae Rae York, Lamar Christian School’s Catherine Hannabas and Lee Academy of Mississippi’s Emily Moser.
