Mt. Hermon School’s Williams is all-state honorable-mention

A Mt. Hermon School boys basketball player is an all-state honorable-mention player in Class B for the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Junior Tevin Williams is a 2019-20 all-state honorable-mention player for the Yellow Jackets.

This season, Williams is a first-team all-district player in the 8-B league.

Williams averaged a double-double in the district season this year.

He averaged 19.5 points and 12.3 rebounds per game to go with three rebounds and 4.2 steals per game.

This season, Mt. Hermon was the 15th-seeded team in the playoffs and reached the regional round, but lost to second-seeded and eventual state champion Doyline.
