Paul “Buddy” Brumfield passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, in Covington. He was 87.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Zeno and Hettie Freeman Brumfield; and his siblings, Chris Brumfield, Booby Brumfield, Leo Brumfield and Genell Breland.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dr. Evelyn Crain Brumfield; his children, Jimmy Brumfield (Marilyn), Shari Brumfield and Tonya Brumfield Page; his three grandchildren, Krystal Stogner (Jeremy), Landon Brumfield (Angela) and Paul Leyton Page; and his three great-grandchildren, Presley Stogner, Alex Brumfield and Logan Tullos; and also survived by his siblings, William Brumfield, Elsie Crain and Lynn Blossman (Dick).

Buddy was a native of Franklinton and longtime resident of Bogalusa.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. in the Carson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Miss.
