Kyta Jamar Ishman was born on June 19, 1984, to Larry Ishman and Krissandra F. Varnado. Affectionately known as “Ky,” embodying a very vibrant and warm personality, on Feb. 28, 2020, he received eternal peace and transitioned from earth to glory.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Larry (Robin) Ishman of Bethlehem, Pa., and Krissandra (Emilio) Varnado of Bogalusa; two brothers, Domino Dushawn Samuels and Dustin Deshawn Samuels of Houston, Texas; eight aunts, Gailyn Roberts, Regina Branch of Houston, Lynette Samuels and Nelda Samuels of California, Gloria (Curtis) Hughes of Liberty, Miss., Edna (Darrell) Brown, Darleen Holmes and Sandra Jones, all of Bogalusa; and two uncles, Michael (Tresa) Ishman and Lloyd (Tanya) Lewis of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Anthony Ford; his grandmother, Mary E. Samuels; one brother, Servenian Rashaan Ishman; and grandparents, James and Cora Ishman.
