Roy James Hill, 74, passed away March 5, 2020, in Kentwood. Roy was born Jan. 29, 1946, in Braxton, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Farmer; two sisters, Shirley Dunaway and Peggy Newman; and one brother, Ralph “Buddy” Farmer.

Roy is survived by his son, James R. Hill; daughter, Michelle (Mark) H. Dean; three grandsons; and his sister, Carolyn (Danny) H. Kysar.

Remains will be buried next to his mother at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Union, Miss.
